'Van' also known as 'Van the Man' to his fan club, is a stunning boy with a delightfully, goofy personality. He is a go anywhere - do anything kind of dog. Confident and loving, along with a whole list of wonderful traits, makes him a wonderful companion who is very easy to live with.
He has an incredible pedigree boasting with champion show dogs and champion agility dogs throughout. He will add diversity to any pedigree.
But more than his pedigree, he is the delightful, happy soul that makes him easy to live with. He understands the household rules ... what is Ok and what is not. He always wants to be a good boy and pretty much succeeds most of the time. He is a hugger and a big mush-ball ... such a happy, joyful boy to live with!!

Junior is the dog one dreams of having. He is easy to live with, loving and very protective of his family. He is CGC certified, TDI certified and is a working service dog. He has low to moderate energy with a great shut off switch.
One of the most remarkable personality trait is his ability to read people, their moods including their issues. He has an emotional depth that is uncanny, He is extremely nurturing and seems to really know when you need it. He has alerted two strangers (men) with the same condition that he is trained for in daily service work for his primary human, from 25 feet away!
He was a 'slow growing' boy and did not mature until 2.5 yrs old. He was shown sporadically during his first 4 years of life. The responsibilities of aging parentsand family responsibilities took priority. JR has a BEAUTIFUL side gait that is huge, smooth and floating,. He has a very nice shoulder assembly/ lay-back and is very clean coming and going. He has rich and clear color which he seems to pass onto his offspring.
He loves to show, go on the road, and share any new adventure with his family, He is always ready for any new adventure.
Feb 14th 2016: Junior finished his championship in style with a 5 point major on Valentine's Day over a very nice entry of dogs.
He has always been a champion in my heart and now in the show ring.
In summer/fall at the age of 9 he went Best Veteran and BOS at the Summer Spectacular. Two months later, over a very large entry, he went BOB. These two wins ranked him in the top 50 Aussies in the nation--NOT bad for a 9 year old!!
Junior's Eulogy
Today I am writing what I have dreaded having to write.
I/we had to say goodbye to my heart dog. Harvest Moon’s Junior Prince.
I got lucky— knowledge had almost nothing to do with keeping him from my first litter.
He was my everything; my service dog, ASCA champion, CGC, TDI but more than that the dog who was my constant emotional companion. We had a connection that was noticeable by all who saw us work together. Several times people would come up to me after exiting the show ring and say, " It looks like you are dancing together". That is the way it was with us about everything.
He had the capability to have many of his own friendships— on the day of his passing at least 10 of his close friends were messaging me and saying prayers while he crossed out of this life.
The bond he and I shared defied logic.
I do believe we were connected at a soul level.
We travelled together on planes, busses, trains. He was there for me through the loss of family members and helped me to go on. The trust we had was palpable. When he was young and I was training him on escalators, he was terrified. We worked on it at a local Nordstrom store, and it only took 3-4 sessions before he was fine. Most of that was because of our love and trust, not because of my training skills. He knew I would never put him in danger. He lived nearly 14.5 yrs and it was a great life we had together. He was the one who was on nearly every adventure in life with me.
I always knew I would hold him dear until the last moment of his life. He lifted his head and tried to kiss me seconds before he left. I could see the love in his eyes. I know he heard and felt me loving him deeply. It was a gift from Devine to have him in my life, he helped me grow and learn so much. I learned so much about Aussies but he also made me want to be a better person. How amazing to have a dog like that love me. I was the lucky one- to have him born on my bed and into my hands and then he left this world while being held in my hands.
Peaceful travels my love
